Personal Narrative-My Birthday - 1837 Words
It was my birthday. Two things that I never thought would happen. One was me getting a chocolate lab I named Hazel, the second was losing a loved one. These two things happened on one day that I will love and hate for the rest of my life. It was a sunny morning in California. It was also my 15th birthday. I got out of bed and did my morning routine. I opened my closet to choose what I should wear today. I found a dress that was white until your stomach and then was purple with an flow free bottom.I matched some white flats with my dress and headed downstairs. When I came downstairs I saw that my dad was eating his donut and discussing something important with my mom. My mom noticed that I was on the stairs and told me to come and join them. ââ¬Å"Elena me and your father planned this party out for you tonight.â⬠I looked at both of them and said ââ¬Å"It was not needed we could have just s pent time together.â⬠But I agreed to the party, after we finished lunch my mom said you should go take a nap. I went upstairs to my room,I opened the door slowly, I saw Hazel open her eyes sleepily and then shut them again. I climbed into bed and fell asleep in less than five minutes. I woke up to soft knocking on my door,I told whoever it is to come in. I noticed that Hazel was still asleep, my mom walked in with a long black velvet evening gown. My mom smiles at me and then looks at Hazel ââ¬Å"she looks really tired from running around in the yard.â⬠I smile ââ¬Å"sheââ¬â¢s going to be a hand full.â⬠Then I turn towards the dress ââ¬Å" Mom whatââ¬â¢s up with the dress,â⬠ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s for the party,â⬠mom says.
