In such circumstances, the company directors are required to convene an extraordinary general meeting in order for the shareholders to make a determination on whether to dissolve the company. In cases where the board fails to convene the general meeting or where the general assembly fails to reach a general resolution pertaining to the dissolution of the company, any interested shareholder may initiate legal proceedings for the dissolution of the company as stipulated in Article 285 of the Companyââ¬â¢s Law. The meeting of the general assembly is at liberty to dissolve the company if a majority of th e shareholders support the resolution to dissolve the company. Similarly, dissolution may be initiated by any shareholder with more than 25 per cent of the companyââ¬â¢s shareholding. However, this only applies when the company returns a loss amounting to more than 75 per cent of its total financial capital for any given financial year. This framework is anchored on Article 289 of the Companies Law. When the liquidation of a company gets approved by the required majority, the dissolution process commences immediately and the term ââ¬Ëliquidationââ¬â¢ is incorporated to the companyââ¬â¢s name. Radio teletypes usually run on short-wave (HF) and are much acceptable by the military since they generate written information with no skilled operator. They convey a bit as one of two tones. Accuracy of analog systems is more. As the world is leaving from Wires to Wireless, The technology and swiftness or speed of wireless communication is also going leaps and bounds. The wired set-up often goes too crowded and offers obstruction to mobility needs of the users i.e. the wired system is not portable. If at all it is then it is very complicated. With wired Networks, although security characteristics and speed are however not matched by the wired networks, nevertheless the incapability to being flexible is what causes the wireless mediums to gain additional public awareness. Rosa Parks Rosa Parks is famous for a lot of things. But, she is best known for her civil rights action. This happen in December 1,1955 Montgomery, Alabama bus system. She refused to give up her sit to a white passenger on the bus. She was arrested for violating a law that whites and blacks sit in separate sit in separate rows. She refused to give up her sit when a white man wished to sit there. The front was for whites only. The law says that blacks have to leave there sits in the next when all seats in the front were taken and whites still wanted seats. Before Rosa Parks was arrest, Montgomeryââ¬â¢s black leaders had been discussing about the city bus. Parks allowed the leaders to use her arrest to speak a boycott of the bus system. Martin Luther king ,Jr. then was a Baptist minister in Montgomery, then was chosen as president. For 382 days, from 12/5/1955 to 12/20/1956 thousands of blacks refused to ride the buses. The boycott ended when the U.S. Supreme Court declared segregated seating on the cityââ¬â¢s buses unconstitutional. The success encouraged other mass protests demanding civil rights for blacks. Rosa Parks held a variety of jobs and, in 1943. She became one of the first woman to join the Advancement of Colored People(NNCP). She severed as the organizations secretary from 1943 to 1956. Parks lost her job as a seamstress as a result of the Montgomery boycott. She and her family moved to Detroit in 1957. Where she worked for many years for Congressman John Conyers. She founded the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development to offer guidance to young African Americans in preparation for leader ship and careers. 1979, she won a Medal for her work in civil rights. She wrote an autobiography. Today, most of the people know her as a civil right action leader but, there is more then that one thing that she accomplished. Also, there is a Boulevard name after her in Detroit, it says "ROSA PARKS BLVD.

Emily Dickinson: How Illness Shaped Her Writing Essay -- Biography
Emily Dickinson has a characteristic writing style. Dickinsonââ¬â¢s use of dashes and ââ¬Å"randomlyâ⬠placed capital letters throughout her work give her a unique style that is contradictory to her time. Many believe that it was her genius that caused this while still others believes it was her illness that contributed to her characteristic writing style. Lyndall Gordon's biography ââ¬Å"offers a major revelation: evidence that Dickinson suffered from epilepsy. The author makes her case partly through prescriptions that Dickinson received (the papers still survive) and reinterprets poems such as "I felt a Cleaving in my Mind" to describe the poet's condition. She writes that ââ¬Ësickness is a more sensible reason for seclusion than disappointed love.ââ¬â¢ Epilepsy carried a stigma, and Gordon explains that because diagnosis was ââ¬Ërarely uttered, still less put on paper, there's little chance of explicit evidenceââ¬â¢Ã¢â¬ (Ciuraru). ââ¬Å"Gordon makes a pe rsuasive case for the link between epilepsy's visual and cerebral distortions and Dickinson's extraordinary languageâ⬠(Showalter). By examining the imagery, diction, symbolism and tone in the poems ââ¬Å"I Felt a Funeral in my Brainâ⬠, ââ¬Å"I Felt a Cleaving in my Mindâ⬠and ââ¬Å"Painâ⬠, the reader can decipher the characteristics of Emilyââ¬â¢s illness brought out in her writing. Through the use of imagery, diction and symbolism in these three poems, the reader can get a sense of the pain and distraught that Dickinson may have felt because of her illness. In ââ¬Å"I Felt a Cleaving in my Mindâ⬠the speaker talks of how ââ¬Å"my Brain had splitâ⬠(2). The word ââ¬Å"Brainâ⬠(2) is capitalized to add emphasis on the word. To have oneââ¬â¢s brain ââ¬Å"splitâ⬠(2) gives the illusion of oneââ¬â¢s brain actually being rendered in two. To have this actually happen wou... ...is experiencing. Pain is described as ââ¬Å"an Element of Blankâ⬠(1). ââ¬Å"Blankâ⬠is nothingness. ââ¬Å"It cannot recollectâ⬠(2), it cannot remember a time when it was not there. It is difficult and hard to live with. The speaker cannot remember ââ¬Å"When it begun-Or if there were/ A time when it was not-ââ¬Å"(3-4). The illness has become such a part of the speakerââ¬â¢s life, she cannot remember a time when it did not occur. The speaker ââ¬Å"has no Futureâ⬠(5) with the pain of the illness. The illusion of infinity with the illness and pain is given and reiterated in the next line with ââ¬Å"Itââ¬â¢s Infinite contain-ââ¬Å"(6). The only future the speaker has is ââ¬Å"New Periods- Of Painâ⬠(8). Because all the words are capitalized the reader is given the feeling of finality. That this is all there is, nothing more than pain. The dash causes the reader to pause and digest this information and the finality of it.

Consequently, you will need to spend some time finding out about your audience. To begin this process, you will want to determine the demographic composition of your listeners. Demographic characteristics are observable or measurable. They include factors such as age, race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, and so on. (Pearson Education, 2010) Assertiveness is the tone you should use when presenting a letter to management. ââ¬Å"Assertiveness is stating what you think, feel, want, or need in a way that is direct, honest, and respectful of others. Specific purposes identify the desired audience response at the conclusion of your speech.â⬠(Communication in the workplace, 2012) In other words, what do you want your listeners to know, think,or do after they have heard your presentation? Although you do not actually state the specific purpose in the context of your speech, you use this statement to give direction to the development and organization of your information. According to Communicating in the Workplace, by Thomas Cheesebro, Linda Oââ¬â¢Connor, and Francisco Rios, to be effective, a specific purpose statement should meet the following guidelines: It should be a complete sentence, It should contain only one key idea. And It should be stated in measurable terms. ââ¬Å"Think of the central idea as the core or foundation of your presentation. A central idea states, in a single sentence, the essence of the speech. It needs to be clear, concise, and focused for the audience. So important is this central idea that the effectiveness of the entire presentation is largely dependent upon it. It tells the audience what the speech is all about and prepares your listeners for the information that is to come.â⬠(Pearson Education, 2010) In summary, ââ¬Å"keep in mind that developing the skills are required to deliver effective presentations can increase your confidence and success both personally and professionally. The process of analyzing your audience, selecting a topic, determining your specific purpose, and formulating your central idea will enable you to achieve a truly memorable presentation.â⬠(Communication in the workplace, 2012) Not doing so can really hurt your presentation, and your credibility.
